West London Waste Authority is seeking a qualified contractor to deliver three Waste Composition Analyses (WCA) as apart of a comprehensive contract. The analyses will cover the seasons of Summer 2025, Spring 2026 and Winter 2026/27. This work will support our efforts to assess and understand the impact of key policy changes - including Simpler Recycling, packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (pEPR), Deposit Return Scheme (DRS), and the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) - across each borough and WLWA as a whole. New recycling service for Coffee Pods introduced at Abbey Road Reuse & Recycling Centre. All residents from Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hounslow, Hillingdon and Richmond upon Thames can now recycle their used coffee pods at this site.

Groundwork London’s REWORK project is expanding with a dedicated e-commerce platform offering quality refurbished household appliances, such as fridges, freezers, cookers, and washing machines, directly to the public for the first time.

Got quality items you no longer need? Bring them to Abbey Road Household Reuse and Recycling Centre in Brent and give them a second life. From bikes to pots and pans, many items in good condition are passed on for reuse — lots end up helping NHS staff and local community groups.
