Repair and Reuse Day in Hillingdon

Published: 24th February 2026

Hillingdon’s free Repair and Reuse Day returns on Saturday 7 March, from 11am to 2pm at The Great Barn, Ruislip, as part of Repair Week 2026.

The event invites residents to learn hands‑on skills to help reduce waste, save money and extend the life of everyday items. Visitors can get clothes, bikes and small electricals repaired for free, drop off unwanted textiles and electricals for recycling, and explore stalls offering practical sustainability advice.

Highlights include TRAID’s clothes‑mending workshop, Friends of the Earth’s electrical repair café, Dr Bike tune‑ups, zero‑waste shopping tips, and demonstrations on reusing mobility aids. Complimentary refreshments, a quiz and a children’s treasure hunt make it a family‑friendly day celebrating reuse and repair.
