West London Waste Authority welcomes new members and Chair

Published: 08th July 2026

West London Waste Authority (WLWA) has welcomed three new members to its Authority, alongside the appointment of a new Chair.

Members are appointed by our six constituent boroughs and play an important role in shaping the Authority's strategic direction and overseeing the delivery of waste and recycling services for residents across West London.

The Authority's newest members are Councillors Dominic Moffitt, Promise Knight and Amy Croft. Councillor Moffitt has been appointed Chair of the Authority for 2026/2027, and longstanding member Councillor Julia Neden-Watts has been appointed Vice-Chair. The appointments were confirmed at the Authority meeting on 23 June 2026.

Our Authority consists of:

  • Cllr Dominic Moffitt - Chair (Ealing)
  • Cllr Julia Neden-Watts - Vice-Chair (Richmond)
  • Cllr Wayne Bridges (Hillingdon)
  • Cllr Amy Croft (Hounslow)
  • Cllr Stephen Greek (Harrow)
  • Cllr Promise Knight (Brent)

The new appointments come at an important time for the Authority as it continues to strengthen partnerships with boroughs, improve services and deliver its Business Plan priorities.

WLWA is currently progressing a programme of work focused on three key areas: people, partnership and delivery. Early progress has already been made across all three areas, including strengthening partnership arrangements with boroughs, investing in facilities and infrastructure, and continuing to build a positive, high-performing organisational culture.

Dominic Moffitt, Chair of West London Waste Authority, said:

"It is a privilege to be appointed Chair of West London Waste Authority and I am excited about what we can achieve together. Waste touches so many aspects of our lives, from how we manage valuable resources to tackling climate change and improving our local environment. I look forward to working with fellow councillors across the Authority and with the dedicated team at West London Waste to build on the Authority's strong track record and deliver positive outcomes for residents across west London."

We look forward to working with new members as we continue to develop plans for a more sustainable, resource-efficient future for West London and the communities it serves.
