West London Waste Authority (WLWA) has partnered with AnyJunk Limited to introduce a Bulky Material Collections Service across four West London boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Harrow, and Hounslow.
Following an initial trial, AnyJunk emerged as the ideal partner to meet WLWA’s desire to deliver a more seamless digital and cost effective material collection service for residents across the WLWA region.
AnyJunk's cutting-edge approach leverages state-of-the-art technologies, including digital booking systems, advanced vehicle routing, and customer service management. The service is meticulously designed with flexibility and adaptability at its core and is tailored to meet the unique needs of WLWA and its partner boroughs.
This strategic alliance aligns seamlessly with WLWA's overarching goals, emphasising carbon savings, reducing collection waiting times, and prioritising reuse and recycling initiatives. By integrating these key principles, the Bulky Material Collections Service actively contributes to WLWA's commitment to a circular economy, promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility.
"This partnership with AnyJunk marks a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance waste management services and our circular economy ambitions in west London," said Roger St Paul, Project Manager at WLWA. "We are confident that the Bulky Material Collections Service will continue to exceed service expectations and deliver a better standard for bulky material collections in the region."
