Waste Prevention Strategy and Actions
In April 2011 the West London Waste Authority and its partner boroughs adopted a West London Waste Prevention Strategy 2011 - 2015 (2775 downloads) . The strategy set out an ambitious goal to see the amount of waste collected for disposal in west London to reduce by 21,600 before 2016.
Five key materials (food, textiles, electricals, furniture and nappies) were identified and each year an action plan will be developed to target these materials.
Read about our work to reduce waste and the action plans for each year in the documents shown on this page.
