WEEE really want you to help us recycle more
National Recycle Week starts on 17th June and this year we’ve partnered up with DHLEnvirosolutions to help West Londoners recycle their electrical items. Apparently we all have at least 3 broken or unwanted electrical items in cupboards, lofts and garages just taking up space.
To make recycling these really easy we’re looking for community groups and locations (such as schools, churches, sport centres) to have a recycling container for this one week so local residents can recycle their unwanted electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) at convenient locations throughout West London. So whether you live in Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Richmond, you can all get involved in rEEEcycling!
How you can get involved
If you think you might have space to squeeze in a 1m by 1m container get in touch to find out more – firstname.lastname@example.org or call 020 8814 9802
What will be collected for recycling?
Any broken or unwanted leads, cables or small electrical item that has batteries, a power plug or a charger linked to mains electricity or a renewable power source.
What will we do for you?
We’ll arrange for the container to be delivered, emptied when it gets full and taken away after Recycle Week ends on 23 June. We will also provide you with leaflets and posters to promote the event and can help you write something for your local paper if you want to shout about what you’re doing
