Date and time
Saturday 18 May 2019
2:00pm - 5:00pm
Avenue Halls, Kew, Richmond
Repair Café Richmond opens for the second time between 2:00pm – 5:00pm on Saturday 18th May, at Avenue Halls, Kew, Richmond.
Richmond residents are invited to bring damaged clothes, broken bicycles to the Repair Café where they can learn to fix them for free, over some delicious tea and cake.
TRAID will be armed with needles, thread and sewing machines to help you mend your clothes so you can wear them again. Dr Bike will be on hand to get your bikes back on the road, and there will also be a WEEE drop off point where we can safely recycle all your old, unwanted electricals.
The Repair Café is run by West London Waste Authority, TRAID, organisations and volunteers willing to share their skills. It’s a collaborative space where the community can learn simple repair skills to keep their things in use for longer.
