Queen’s Park Day
Date and time
Sunday 17 September 2017
12:00pm - 5:30pm
This popular annual event promises to showcase lots of things happening in the community and we will be there promoting recycling services in the area with the Veolia team and giving out lots of Love Food Hate Waste tips and tools to make the most of your food. Plus our team has lots of good ideas for reducing textile, electrical, furniture and nappy waste, so be sure to come with any questions or concerns you have.
Queen’s Park Day is part traditional village fete – cake and jam competitions, donkey rides, a tug-of-war tournament, thrilling arena events – combined with twenty-first-century music-making, the candy-floss thrill of the fun fair and the delights of a street-food festival. And that’s not to mention over a hundred individual stalls offering an A to Z of tempting items, promoting good causes and spreading the word about local events.
If you need more information about stalls, music or events at the festival then visit the Queens Park Day website. For more information about West London Waste, you can ring us on 020 8825 9468 or you can email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
