Flippin’ Food Waste!
Date and time
Sunday 22 February 2015
Centred around the age old pre-lent tradition of using up what’s in your cupboard, we want to challenge residents to think the same way about food in their homes and use what you have before it goes to waste. By getting creative with ingredients at home, you can make entirely new meals or add a creative twist to a dish you regularly make.
Pancakes are especially easy to make and you can experiment almost relentlessly with them – depending on how adventurous your tastebuds are! On the day, there will be a number of local chefs who will be whipping up their creations and you can choose your favourite or have a go yourself! However you want to get involved, we want you to help us flick two fork prongs up at food waste!
Fancy putting your pancake making skills to the test? Check out an international selection of pancakes from Hubbub’s Flippin’ Food Waste Recipe book and have a go yourself!
For more information or to take part in the event, check out the Hubbub website. For more information from West London Waste you can ring us on 020 8825 9468 or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
